Who will stop ice from arresting governors and even individuals making these small incremental efforts over a long period of time make one or two of them an example execute them and watch how fast that stops point is I don’t believe you can do a soft succession. It’s going to end up hard.
Who will stop ICE from invading the stakes, arresting the governors, and executing a few? Who is going to stop him from calling for the death of patriotic legislators. The point is this regime is going to end hard anyway. Trump doesn’t need excuses to commit unspeakable crimes. But states that can should protect its denizens as much as possible. Maybe everything but the tax conversation. Maybe more. Creating parallel safety nets and suing the hell out of the feds is already happening
