Hi friends,
The internet, at least our corner of it, is screaming that Trump is guilty. There are hot takes about what Biden’s campaign should do, what surrogates should do, and what this means for the polls, election, future. All these takes are noise at this point, and on the advice of
, I’ll tell you to ignore any poll that happened overnight. The methodology is unsound and the results will be inaccurate. The main thing I wanted to talk about is what we need to be doing right now. And that’s the same thing I always say. We need to reach out to people we know OUTSIDE THE BUBBLE and let them know that ordinary citizens found Trump guilty of cooking the books so he could win the election. Ordinary people indicted him, and ordinary people tried and judged him. This has to happen before his narrative reaches them and further radicalizes them.
Here’s a video of Tara McGowan, publisher of
talking about exactly what we need to do:Please take a look at my interviews with Tara McGowan, Stephanie Schriock, Brian Hansbury, Nancy Thompson and others to hear more about our job in educating disconnected, or low propensity (or high potential) voters.
Any time it's left up to the people, he loses. Two popular vote contests; three juried trials . . . the people have spoken. We must speak again in November. Loudly.
Stephanie, Thank you for saying what we need to do. I agree with your and Tara McGowan's analysis. I encourage you to post how EXACTLY, CONCRETELY, AND PRACTICALLY, your readers can "reach out to people . . . outside the bubble". I know of two organizations in Texas that are organizing people to talk to voters in person: https://poweredxpeople.org/ , and Blue Action https://www.texasblueaction.com/block-captain
