What they did is treason and should be punished as such. I actually wish that Jeffrey Goldberg would have shared EVERYTHING to expose this as the disaster that it is. These kinds of unsecured communications should be hacked and exposed by Americans so that Trump and co understand the repercussions and change their behaviors. Like white hat hackers. Also, few things enrage me more than the attitude of Trump and co that the American people do not deserve to have this information as part of the future historical record.
I don't know what Goldberg will do. I do know he is conscientious and doesn't want to reveal sources and methods. But he says there's more to come. So I'll be interested to see what he shares. Also, I'd be interested to know if other journalists "accidentally" get added to text groups like this in the future.

A passive way of exposing something one or more of them may be very uncomfortable with. And Trump knows. Mr. ‘takes top security documents to his house and gets in trouble.’ No way to get in trouble if there’s no record. No need to take them if they are easily shareable.
