If you’re getting this email, you know that I haven’t had a new episode of Freedom Over Fascism for a minute. Let me give you a brief update so you know why I’ve been pretty quiet lately.

All sorts of life transitions are happening at the same time right now…kiddo is going first to camp as a counselor and then to college. And my husband and I are selling up and moving from the home we’ve lived in for 18 years to be closer to family. My husband is, in effect, moving home to Maine, where he grew up. But between selling a house, launching a kiddo, moving states, and having a chronic illness, I’ve been busy and, frankly, exhausted. Rest assured I’m as dialed in as I always have been, and I’ll have lots to talk about when Freedom Over Fascism returns with new episodes.

If you follow more closely on Substack, you may have seen my notes and my recent conversation with Walter Rhein and Robert Danna about planning for the future we want to see. It is definitely worth watching here. I assure you that I will be back soon with new Fireside Chats that will help us all understand the stakes, opportunities, and pitfalls of the current moment.
