This week Stephanie talks to Dr. Matthew Taylor, who studies the extreme, violent, prophesy-spouting Christian Nationalists who are way too close to Donald Trump and Mike Johnson.

He is the creator of the acclaimed audio-documentary series “Charismatic Revival Fury: The New Apostolic Reformation,” which details how networks of extremist Christian leaders helped instigate the January 6th Insurrection.

His next book, The Violent Take It By Force: The Christian movement that is threatening our democracy (Broadleaf Books), will be published in Fall 2024. Even if you thought you knew about Christian Nationalism, this is one of the most interesting conversations I’ve had. Ever.
